LessFormerly called Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows, Palisades Tahoe hosted the 1960 Olympics and now hosts thousands of happy skiers every year, most of whom visit for the excellent and varied terrain, as well as the epic views across Lake Tahoe.
With almost 1000 vertical metres of terrain - all of it above 2200 metres - and 28 lifts, Mammoth Mountain is aptly named; it's a massive ski area with something for everyone. The views are exceptional too, with the spectacular peaks of the Sierra Nevada all around.
On the lower flanks of Mount Hood sits this wonderful ski area, which has terrain for all tastes. Whether you enjoy greens, blue or super steep double black diamonds, you'll find something you like at Timberline. Skiing with the vastness of northern Oregon below you only adds to the fun!
Primarily a resort for intermediate and advanced skiers, Crystal Mountain is an epic place to ski if you've got the requisite skills. The area gets a huge amount of snow annually so powder days are common, which makes it our kind of ski area!
Less than 55 miles from downtown Seattle is this wonderful ski area, perched high above Snoqualmie Pass on Highway I-90. With 25 lifts, a tubing run and an XC ski area, there really is something for everyone at Snoqualmie.
