You can hop on the trail almost anywhere between Georgetown and Cumberland, Maryland. The trail offers awesome views of the Potomac River and Great Falls. Spanning all the way from Union Station to Silver Spring, the Metropolitan Branch Trail is a popular place to exercise. This “rail trail” uses old railway tracks for the eight mile paved route. Jog, walk, or bike here, starting from its many access points.
