The Sheboygan County Insane Asylum is a very misunderstood haunted site, historically and paranormally speaking. But with hundreds of documented deaths that took place on the current property and connections to multiple suicides, haunted happenings in the now empty hospital are frequent and extreme.

With over 6000 shipwrecks in the Great Lakes, resulting in the deaths of over 30,000 mariners, the Museum Ship Valley Camp in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan is a testament to the lengthy and often treacherous history of freight ships. Hales Bar Dam in Tennessee was built on ground reported to be cursed by a great Cherokee warrior. That, plus the fact it saw a number of tragic deaths on site both during and after construction, makes it one of the most haunted sites in Tennessee today.
