Urban Oasis Project sells local fruits and veggies (look for Ms. Shirley cleaning jackfruit!). Other must-tries: Clive’s fresh juices, Paradise Farms’ pickles and turmeric products, Crackerman’s breads and dips, Gables Delight jams, Honi Lifestyle honey and Angry Booch kombucha. To park, turn at NE 64 Terr. and head to the lot in the rear.
No visit to the Homestead/Redland agricultural district is complete without a stop at this iconic farmstand🥭🥑🍌. First, choose your own tropical fruit shake🥤(Canistel? Passionfruit? Key lime?) and perhaps a Cuban sandwich. Then look for Robert holding court on the fruits du jour. Picnic amid the zoo and old farm equipment out back. Don’t forget to pick up fruits and veggies, local honey, hot sauces and a 🌻🌻🌻 bouquet. On weekends, there's live music and BBQ. Open daily. Plenty of parking.
Inside Aventura Mall, one of the largest in the country, this weekend farmers market is filled with eclectic vendors that transport you around the world with food: Hungarian pastries; Argentinean empanadas, alfajores and cookies; Venezuelan arepas; Jamaican jerk; Mediterranean breads and dips; ceviche and guacamole; Italian olive oils; fresh tropical fruits and juices, just to name a few. Bonus: As a year-round indoor market, it's always comfortable when the weather is rainy or steamy hot.
Shop amid an enchanting cluster of farm buildings across the street from Vizcaya, built by industrialist James Deering between 1914 and 1922, now a museum and gardens. Under renovation, the village is shaded by huge banyans that make shopping pleasant even in the summer. Every Sunday, shop for local produce, artisan and prepared foods you can enjoy in the picnic area. Woodturners and ceramic artists and other programs often share the space. Look out for peacocks 🦚! South Beach’s favorite art-, pet- and people-watching promenade hosts a Sunday market that’s always colorful. You’ll find fruits and juices, sourdough bread, pastries, empanadas, refreshing coco frío, ceviche and guacamole and artisan foods, along with plants and cut flowers, arts and crafts. Grab a cup of coffee or a fruit smoothie. Pop into shops and restaurants along this popular stretch. In the winter and spring, stroll amid the antiques and collectible markets. Pay-to-park lots are nearby.
Every weekend, Adena Ellenby and Walt Chefitz turn the parking lot of their Kendall commercial kitchen into a drive-through, where they sell their greatest hits: colorful rainbow smoothies made from local tropical fruits; turmeric tonic; guacamole in season; bagels on Sundays; granola made with their dried fruits; and seasonal fresh fruits from their farm, like jackfruit, starfruit, mamey sapote, avocados, papaya, bananas, lychee and longans. You can’t ask for fresher or more delicious fruits!

While you’re here, tour the pastoral setting at Natural Chai Farm and Gardens, home to organic gardens, farm animals and a lychee grove, Tree Amigos Growers and Botanica Organica. They're open Fri.-Sun. Easy parking.
