When they’re not digging into relationship dilemmas on the hit podcast The Therapy Crouch, Peter Crouch and Abbey Clancy fill their time with festivals, football and farms. These are the places they can’t resist coming back to every summer.
Less“This is one of our top summer activities whenever we make it in on a Sunday! When Pete was still in his romantic phase and we had an occasional free Sunday, this is where we would head down and he would pick me up some beautiful plants and flowers! Stoned & Plastered does some great plant pots as well for when you have picked up a few bits.”
“Perfect spot for a sunny and warm day in London. Primrose Hill provides some of the best views of the city! Make sure to walk around the park and explore this area, which is surrounded by delicious cafés and restaurants. So make sure to find the perfect spot for an iced latté and your favourite pastry and enjoy the views! If you are looking for a picnic spot this summer, definitely check this out.”
“This place holds a massive place in both of our hearts! I’m obviously from Liverpool and come from a long line of die-hard reds. So, many a weekend I was dragged down with my dad and older brothers, which at the time I hated, but now they are some of my most cherished memories! Anfield is the home of Liverpool, the team Pete was playing for when we first met. He would invite me to all the home games, and I used to be in the stands cheering and screaming with everyone else whenever he scored!”
“Based in London Bridge, Borough Market is the perfect spot if you are not exactly sure about what you would like to eat. There are many options from different cuisines from all over the globe, so you will have many incredible and innovative choices. Definitely worth a visit!”
“Wembley will always hold a special place in my heart. Growing up as an aspiring footballer, representing your home country and your national stadium is something everyone dreams of doing, and I was very fortunate enough that I could make that dream a reality. Not only did I get to represent my country, but I also scored a couple of times there, which is just a dream come true. I’ve also performed Crouchfest a couple of times at Wembley Stadium, which adds to the magic!”
“The amazing Tom Sellers is not only an incredible chef but also a great friend. His restaurant is beautiful, and the food makes the experience unforgettable. A perfect one-of-a-kind spot for a date night in London. We love this place and we would definitely recommend booking your visit ASAP!”
“Bocketts is one of our favourite family days out! We have been taking our kids here for years, and it always goes down an absolute treat. There is something for all the little ones there: They can do animal petting (which I obviously love), there are pony rides, and there is a soft play area if you aren’t too interested in the great outdoors! They also have a pig race, which Pete goes absolutely nuts for. He loves picking which one he thinks is going to win and betting against the kids!”
“This is hands-down easily one of our favourite restaurants in the whole of London. Pete and I have been to Italy a few times, and Scalini is actually better than some of the food we tried over there! It is an absolute winner for a date night, and the lunch menu is also great. Our personal favourite dishes that we go for are the Dover sole or the clam linguine, but, honestly, order anything off the menu and you will not be disappointed!”
“We have incredible memories from attending Glasto with our friends and families over the years. Watching some of our favourite artists and legendary performers while spending the weekend with some of our favourite people at the most iconic British festival—it doesn’t get much better than that. We love checking out the rising artists as well and finding out about new music that way—so much fun! This festival is iconic in every way and we love to attend whenever we can.”
“We have been to the Isle of Wight Festival multiple times, and we attended it once again this year; Peter hosted That Peter Crouch Podcast at the Big Top stage. We have made some of our favourite memories at this festival. Always surrounded by friends and family, Isle of Wight Festival has become a tradition in our household. You can’t miss it.”
