Less“Shhh! Don’t scream! At Hush Haunted Attraction, get ready to be transported and immersed into the haunted town of Hush Falls, where not every ghoul who checks in will ever check out! This KILLER attraction is an enormous indoor creep out with numerous hell-raising haunted houses and four secret bars where you can keep it creepy all night long while you sip on sinister beverages. We love how the townsfolk keep patrons engaged in the haunted storyline.”
“Where else other than San Francisco can you descend into a vampire-themed bar called Fang Bang, join a spooky cult, and be enchanted by spooky performances from the iconic and legendary Peaches Christ? This year’s Terror Vault is sure to give you spine-tingling sensations during their cult-inspired show, The Initiation. This is the premier spooky nightlife event of the haunting season, and we can’t wait for Peaches Christ to scare our pants off!”
“It’s a SHAQ ATTACK! This is the second year that Shaq will be hosting his chilling event at the Queen Mary in Long Beach. Queen Mary herself is back from renovations and filled with Grey Ghosts ready to haunt your nightmares. LVCRFT and Skeleton Sam will be DJing the block party every night. This is a ghoulishly great event, mostly aimed at adults but also open three Sundays for family trick-or-treating and fun before Shaq’s minions descend and the witching hour commences!”
“What do New England fall, hundreds of carved pumpkins, creepy props, and over five acres of outdoor haunted-trail experience give you? The ultimate overload of freaky fun for the spooky season! Haunted Overload gives you pumpkin-spice everything while scaring the seed guts out of you with its eerie, picture-perfect Stephen King New England fall freakiness. We LOVE this freaky haunt!”
“It’s getting dark in here...so take off all your masks?! Actually, don’t do that, but do check out DARK in Fort Edmonton Park, Canada. After six years of creating creepy, immersive experiences in this hauntingly historically themed attraction, these demented clowns know how to do it wickedly right! We got to nosh on some devilish treats and sip sinister cocktails after being chased through its underbelly by a horde of the undead. Canada definitely delivers on the spooky with this one!”
“We are freaking out for Fear Factory in Salt Lake City, Utah! Located in a very Freddy Krueger–esque old industrial factory, this 90,000-square-foot, six-story, two-underground-passage immersive experience gives us the freaky creeps every which way we turn. This haunt is rated in the top 10 haunts in the world and does not disappoint on the spooky—is this even legal? For 2023, they’ve upped the freaky by adding new storylines, new immersive sets, and a KILLER mocktail bar. Time to freak out!”
“The spooky stars at night are freaky and bright, deep in the heart of Texas!!! Dark Hour is the premier haunt experience in Texas and definitely one of our favorite haunts in the world. This year, Dark Hour is going terrifyingly turbo with a huge expansion, more creepy scenes, more monsters, creeps, and spooky freaks to haunt our darkest of nightmares! We can’t believe how uniquely creeped out we got at every twist and turn in this haunt. Everything is bigger, scarier, and darker in Texas!”
“If you build it, they will…scream! And we couldn’t stop screaming at Field of Screams in Mountville, Pennsylvania. This year, they will be celebrating their 31st year scaring the pants off unsuspecting guest ghouls and ghosts. This is an expert-level haunting experience—prepare for the onslaught of haunting experiences. File season 2023 as a must-scream for Field of Screams.”
“Attack of the killer plant city?! We couldn’t believe how many bloodcurdling screams we shrieked at this freaky-fun haunt. In 2023, they have added a haunted hayride to increase the scares, while the midway captivates all with their snacks and creepy clowns. This gives us a 666 on the scare meter!”
“Is it Annabelle or HANNAbelle? I don’t know, but Hanna Haunted Acres in Indianapolis, Indiana, completely shook our bones to the core and had us screaming with spooky delight! We yelled bloody murder as we ran through the five haunted houses, each themed to haunt our dreams. There is a KILLER Spookyscape Commons where you can sample some sinister snacks and drinks while throwing axes in the axe zone. Duck! These wild, wild Midwest haunters go freaky hard, with over 40 shows in all of October.”
